CONFERENCE DAY 2 | 4TH DECEMBER

Alternative Proteins & Novel Foods

STAGE 1 | PRODUCTION AND MANUFACTURING

STAGE 2 | INGREDIENTS AND FORMULATION

UTC+0 | ONLINE

The sector is advancing on multiple fronts at once. Plant-based, cultivated, fermentation-derived and microbial proteins are moving further into commercial territory, while new labs and funding initiatives work to close the gap between promising science and scalable production. Producers are racing to bring down bioreactor costs and refine taste and texture, even as regulatory pathways vary widely from one market to the next and consumer trust remains hard won. Cultivated meat and precision fermentation are moving from pilot lines into early commercial runs, but the distance between what is possible in the lab and what is viable at retail price and scale remains significant.

APNF 2026 is where these realities are explored through two days of live sessions, direct conversation, and shared expertise.

Now in its second annual online conference, we welcome more than 400 attendees from over 200 organisations, including food producers, ingredient developers, biotechnology companies, regulators and policymakers, foodservice and retail providers, and research institutions.

Across two stages, more than 30 speakers address the challenges and opportunities ahead. APNF 2026 is where the conversations shaping future projects take place.

Attendance is currently complimentary for qualifying personnel from Food Producers and Manufacturers, Foodservice Operators, Retailers, and Government and Regulatory Bodies. Places are limited.

Full access passes include one-to-one networking and on-demand content, so you can revisit sessions and continue dialogue long after the live days have ended.
